Cougars pull away from Lions for boys hoops win

SALEM

Trinity Lutheran’s boys basketball team only led 27-25 at halftime of Tuesday’s game at Salem.

The Cougars then came on strong in the second half and won 59-43.

This was Class A Trinity’s first win against a Class 3A team this winter. Earlier in the season, they suffered losses to Scottsburg and Brownstown Central.
