A school-record performance by Luke Stuckwisch on Monday night nearly led the Trinity Lutheran boys basketball team to a comeback win over Christian Academy.

With a hand in his face, the 5-foot-8 sophomore knocked down his fifth 3-pointer of the fourth quarter and eighth of the game with six seconds remaining to pull the Cougars within 53-51. Following a Trinity timeout, the Cougars immediately fouled Aaron Hayes, and he made 1 of 2.

Cougars coach Aaron Rudzinski then called another timeout to set up the final play, and he put a trio of 3-point shooters on the court. But the attempt by Craig Stuckwisch was off the mark, and Christian Academy won 54-51.
