Jackson County Board of Zoning Appeals will consider a request from a rural Freetown woman for a special exception to allow her residence to be used as a tourist home during a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the courthouse annex in Brownstown.
Martha E. Wunsch of 10019 N. State Road 135 told the county Plan Commission during its meeting on June 19 that she and her husband planned to sell the home and move, and a Realtor had told the couple the move to have the residence changed to a tourist home would make it more marketable.
The plan commission forwarded Wunsch’s request on to the county Board of Zoning Appeals with a favorable recommendation.
