BROWNSTOWN

Jackson County commissioners have made clear who is eligible for health benefits.

The commissioners adjusted the county employee policy Tuesday in response to the federal Affordable Care Act.

“Any employee who consistently works 30 or more hours is considered full time and is eligible for health insurance,” county human resources manager Jeff Hubbard told the commissioners during their meeting at the courthouse annex.
