County council to discuss request for 911 budget



Jackson County council will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the courthouse annex, 220 E. Walnut St., Brownstown.

Agenda items include a request from Sheriff Michael Carothers and Heather Davis, 911 director, for three dispatchers to be paid from within the 911 budget, and a report about a potential expansion project from Jackson Superior Court II Judge Bruce MacTavish and Bill Cooler with Cooler Design Inc. in Indianapolis.

Council meetings are open to the public and press.
