County council urges fair board to plan better

The Jackson County Fair Board likely will have to borrow the money if it hopes to replace aging restrooms anytime soon.

Jackson County Council President Leon Pottschmidt delivered that message to three members of the fair board Wednesday during a council meeting.

Pottschmidt said the council puts together a budget for county departments during meetings in September, and that’s the time fair board members should make any funding needs known.
