The four Jackson County high school boys golf teams are preparing for Friday's Bloomington North Sectional at Indiana University Golf Course.
A couple of them recently competed in matches leading up to sectional.
This past Friday, Brownstown Central shot a season-best 156 in winning a three-way at Westwood Golf Course in Scottsburg. The host Warriors were second with 162, and Austin shot 227.
Brownstown's Lance Hackman was medalist with even-par 35. Levi Sweeney and Lute Lahrman each finished with 39, and Mitchell Perry and Seth Berry carded 43s.
On Tuesday, Seymour also turned in a season-best score, shooting 163 and defeating visiting Jennings County (171) at Shadowood Golf Course.
Seymour's Brady Marshall was medalist with 1-under 35. Dustin Ruddick was next with 38, while Zach Quillen shot 43, and Jordan Jones had 47.
Today, Trinity Lutheran wraps up the regular season with a match at Henryville.

The top three teams and top three individuals from a non-advancing team will advance to the Providence Regional on June 12 at Champions Pointe Golf Club in Henryville.
