BROWNSTOWN

A rural Seymour man received final county approval Tuesday night to sell guns from his home.

James Murphy of East County Road 100S had sought a special exception to allow for the business at his residence, which sits on a 3.56-acre lot in Washington Township south of Seymour, from the county Board of Zoning Appeals.

That board granted Murphy’s request during its monthly meeting at the courthouse annex.
