County water utility cancels boil advisory

Jackson County Water Utility has canceled a boil water advisory for an area in the south-central part of Jackson County because of an outage that occurred early Tuesday.

Water testing showed no evidence of bacteria, the utility said Friday.

The precautionary alert affected an area south of County Road 275S along County Road 300W. The Starve Hollow Lake area was included in the alert along areas of county roads 450S, 400S and 540S.
