Covered Bridge care center residents choose Valentine’s Day royalty



Ed Hudson celebrated his first Valentine’s Day on Friday without his wife of 71 years.

But the day proved to be special and one he said he will never forget after residents of Covered Bridge Health Campus voted him “king” for a day.

The 90-year-old said Friday that Valentine’s Day was always a great day in the past because he and his wife, Betty, used to exchange special cards. Betty passed away in September.
