Crafts, tours, bowling just some of Jackson County fun



Not taking a trip to the beach come spring beak? That’s OK. There are a number of activities available for kids and families to do in the area. All school districts in Jackson County — Crothersville, Medora, Seymour and Brownstown — have their spring break the week of March 24. Besides seeing a movie, shopping or enjoying the outdoors at a local park, spring breakers can attend some of these activities:

Jackson County

Public Library

From 1 to 5 p.m. March 24 to 28, youths ages 8 to 17 can stop in the library and play video games.

There will also be a drop-in craft available each day during regular hours.

Medora branch: Drop-in crafts available from 2 to 6 p.m. March 24 to 28. Video games, card and board games will be available 3 to 5 p.m. March 24 with a snack provided.

Crothersville branch: Drop-in crafts will be available 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. March 24 to 27 and also from noon until 5 p.m. March 28. A game day will be conducted from 5 to 8 p.m.  

March 27 with a snack provided.
