Public properties face the same stormwater user fees as proposed for residential, commercial and industrial properties in Seymour.

Seymour Community Schools Corp. is among the city’s top 10 ratepayers under estimates provided by Wessler Engineering, which has been contracted to help the city develop a stormwater utility.

Under a proposed rate based on a $4 base fee, Seymour Community Schools faces a monthly bill of $3,300, which equals $39,600 a year, for its eight properties within city limits.
