All-around solid performances lifted the Crothersville girls track and field team to a season-opening 69-52 win Wednesday at Scottsburg.
Sam Spall won the long jump, helped the 400-meter relay team place first and was second in the 100-meter dash.
Katrina Christian anchored the winning relay, led a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 and high jump and won the 200-meter dash, while Linda Schwider and Storm Boldery went 1-2 in the shot put, and Breanna Barger won the 400-meter dash and helped the 1,600-meter relay team finish first.
Crothersville only has three boys this year. Scott Black was the only one to score, placing third in the 800-meter run.
