Standing behind the counter at the Jackson County Public Library in Crothersville, Cindy Huckleberry recalls the day the library moved from its original building with creaky old floors at the corner of U.S. 31 and Howard Street to its current location down the street.
“They had a line of people passing the books down the road,” she said.
That’s the kind of community involvement Huckleberry hopes to see as the town conducts a community forum aimed at taking a look into the town’s future.
Residents have an opportunity to discuss their wishes and dreams for the town during a community workshop set for March 18.
