Crothersville students earn medals at district contest

Crothersville Junior/Senior High School students earned 13 gold and two silver medals during the Indiana State School Music Association District Solo/Ensemble Contest held Jan. 26 at Floyd Central High School.

Savannah Wooten, who received a gold medal in Division I, also earned the right to represent the southeastern Jackson County school at the Feb. 16 state contest at Perry Meridian High School in Indianapolis.
