CROTHERSVILLE

Take away the final two minutes of the first half of Monday’s Southern Athletic Conference girls basketball game, and Crothersville might have had better momentum going into the final 16 minutes.

Following Cassidy Mantz’s basket for Crothersville to pull within 26-13, Lanesville was strong in transition and scored the final seven points of the half for a 20-point lead at halftime.

The Eagles then outscored the Tigers 23-14 in the second half for a 56-27 victory to move to 3-1 in the SAC.
