Walter Gray, Indiana University Geological Survey educational outreach coordinator, will present Digging into Rocks, Gems & Fossils at 6:30 p.m. July 8 at the Seymour Library.

This free program is open to all and is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Registration is preferred for seating, by calling 522-3412 ext. 1243.

Gray will describe the geology of the area. Following the program, Gray will answer questions and identify rocks, gems or fossils.

There is a limit of two items per person.

Gray travels to raise public awareness of Indiana geology in both children and adults.
