Doubting parents lead kids astray

Let’s talk about one of the most heartrending tragedies that we often see. This is when a parent laments the fact that their children don’t know God when it was, in fact, the parent who led them astray.

Imagine the situation where people, now in their 40s or 50s, have finally come to the truth that the God of the Bible does exist. They acknowledge God’s grace and his love. They’ve accepted Jesus as their own Savior and are following him daily as their Master.

During the years, however, when they were raising their children, they frequently spoke about God being a myth, that Jesus never existed, that Christians are hypocrites and that religion is for fools.
