Silver Creek handed Trinity Lutheran’s volleyball team a 28-26, 23-25, 25-10, 25-22 loss on Monday night in the Bollinger Athletic Complex.
Cougars coach Chelsey Hackman said her team didn’t communicate and move well enough on defense, and it missed too many serves, especially in the fourth game.
“I think it was a lack of movement on our part,” Hackman said. “Our defense should have been there for that stuff. I got on a couple of my girls for not moving their feet, and that’s where that came from. They weren’t moving. They weren’t making their transitions like they should have been.
“We should have easily had most of those balls up.”
