While watching a high school golf match, you can always tell which players work on their game year-round.

You can count Brownstown Central High School’s Lance Hackman in that group.

In the spring as a sophomore, Hackman led the team with an 82 average for 18 holes and was second with a 41.8 nine-hole average. He also had a team-best 18-hole round of 78 and was one of two golfers to reach a low of 39 for nine holes.
