Dropped drink causes collision, trip to hospital

A 34-year-old Jackson County man was injured after he was involved in a two-vehicle wreck as he retrieved a drink that he had dropped Sunday afternoon southwest of Seymour.

Robert Stuckwisch complained of pain after the wreck, reported at 2:23 p.m. Sunday. He was treated and taken to Schneck Medical Center in Seymour by Jackson County Emergency Medical Service personnel, according to a news release from Jackson County Officer Dustin Steward.

Stuckwisch was released from the hospital after being evaluated in the emergency room, Steward said Monday.
