Not having the post presence of Chase Salmon in Friday’s game at Austin affected the Seymour boys basketball team. The Owls lost 65-39.
But all of the Owls’ hearts were heavy after hearing about the 6-foot-4 junior’s loss of a family member a day after he posted a double-double in a win over Salem earlier in the week.
“We missed him, there’s no doubt about it,” Owls coach Scott Miller said of Salmon.
