When the Trinity Lutheran boys tennis team takes to the courts for the rest of the season, coach Gary Welker said the Cougars need to be better prepared than they were for Monday’s match against Austin.
“We came out kind of flat,” Welker said after the Eagles left the Richard Snyder Courts with a 5-0 victory.
“That being said, you’ve got to rise up to the competition. The silver lining is, we knew how we don’t want to play. We’ve just got to get out there and cause more trouble, get more games to move on.”
