Editorial: Ban drivers from using cellphones

The Indiana General Assembly took a major step forward in improving safety on Hoosier highways by banning the use of handheld cellphones while driving in 2011.

It wasn’t enough.

The total ban on cellphone usage applied only to drivers younger than 18.
