The deaths of three Ripley County teens in a collision last week tragically illustrate the alarming increase in teen traffic fatalities in the Hoosier state.
Recently, the Governors Highway Safety Association reported traffic deaths among 16- and 17-year-old drivers increased more in Indiana than in any other state during the first half of 2012.
Both Indiana and Tennessee reported 16 teen driver fatalities from January to June last year. Numbers were up nationwide, as well, according to the report.
