Editorial: School districts keep ahead of space problems

Brownstown Community Schools and Seymour Community Schools trustees are taking wise steps toward providing needed improvements and additional classroom space at area schools.

Brownstown trustees recently approved construction and remodeling projects that total an estimated $24.7 million for work at Brownstown Elementary School, Brownstown Central Middle School and Brownstown Central High School.

Seymour trustees recently approved construction work estimated to cost $1.3 million at Emerson Elementary School and also agreed to consider projects at Cortland Elementary School, Seymour Middle School, Seymour High School and the transportation garage.
