Thumbs-up to Seymour Boy Scout Tim Molinari, who plans to memorialize the Tuskeegee Airmen and their efforts to integrate an officers club at what was then Freeman Army Airfield during World War II.
Thumbs-up to organizers of the annual World AIDS Day program in Jackson County. Globally, more than 35 million people live with HIV/AIDS today, according to amfAR, a foundation that supports AIDS research. Closer to home, 39 Jackson County residents had been diagnosed with HIV/AIDS in 2012, according to the Indiana Department of Health.
