Editorial: Meth trash caution sad, still needed

The need for the Indiana State Police to issue a warning about methamphetamine trash to mushroom hunters, hikers and others who enjoy the great Hoosier outdoors is just sad.

But warn they did this month, and with justification.

Warmer weather beckons many of us outside to enjoy a walk in the woods and along rural roads, fishing at our favorite pond or stream or perhaps seeking out the other goodies that nature offers us.
