Jacob Franklin played in two football preseason scrimmages. But during practice leading up to the season-opener at Mitchell, the Brownstown Central senior began feeling light-headed.
He visited his family doctor as well as Bloomington Bone and Joint. One time, he was told he had blood pressure problems, and another time, he was told it could be a concussion. He ended up missing the first four games of the season.
“For my senior year, it was probably one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, sitting on the sidelines and watching my friends on the football field,” Franklin said.
