Column: Encourage others with intention, caring spirit



Who doesn’t like to be encouraged? We all do. We like encouragement and we want to be encouraged.

Even though we know that is true, why don’t more people make an effort to be more of an encourager?

I think one of the biggest problems is the fact that even though encouragement is important, it is not urgent. You don’t drift toward encouragement. The drift always seems to be toward criticism and negativity.
