After the first meeting of the year with Charlestown, the Brownstown Central football team knew it would need a great team effort in order to beat the Pirates in Friday’s Class 3A Sectional 23 cham- pionship game.
The Braves had only one loss going into the game, and that was a 41-3 loss to the Pirates in Week 2.
On Friday, the Pirates walked away from Blevins Memorial Stadium with a 62-10 victory.
