Construction of a pipeline that eventually will carry ethane from western Pennsylvania to Jackson County has started in the Reddington area.
A spokesman for Enterprise Products Partners LLC, which is constructing the pipeline, said it’s difficult to talk about the progress of construction at any one point along the 369-mile route of new pipeline.
“Pipelines are built in segments with different crews working in different areas,” spokesman Rick Rainey said. “To say where construction is in any area is hard to do.”
