Event to benefit local animal shelter

An event to benefit Red Sky Rescue will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Garvey’s Pub, 1400 Shields Ave., Seymour.

The Ladies Night Out event will feature vendors offering a variety of handmade gifts, handbags and personalized purses, cooking utensils and products, wickless candles and denim jeans.

Tickets are $5 and include a drink special, a chance at a mega gift basket from all the vendors and door prizes donated by local businesses.
