Mollie Borcherding, 14, of Cortland hasn’t been bored this summer thanks to her involvement in Jackson County 4-H.
From raising six sheep, including twin ewes Olive and Willow, and taking care of her chickens and rabbits to trying to bake the perfect loaf of wheat bread and tending her vegetable garden, Borcherding has kept plenty busy.
But all of the long hours and hard work will pay off next week as she showcases her 4-H projects at the annual Jackson County Fair in Brownstown.
