Ex-Illinois lawmaker sets sights on Indiana treasurer post



Democrat Mike Boland wants to help Hoosiers reach educational and business goals as Indiana’s next state treasurer.

The Fishers resident recently brought his campaign to Seymour to discuss why he’s running for office.

His Republican opponent is Kelly Mitchell of Logansport, the current director of TrustINdiana, a local government investment fund operated through the state treasurer’s office.
