Ex-Owl wraps up successful freshman year



Logan Personett accomplished a lot in her freshman season of softball at Marian University.

In a doubleheader at Taylor University to close the regular season, the 2013 Seymour High School graduate had a hit in each game, with her single in the top of the first inning of the second game setting the school record for hits in a season with 75.

On the season, through 47 starts, she batted a Crossroads League-best .453 with 78 hits (including seven doubles and one triple), 35 runs and 18 RBIs.
