When Alejandro Clemente-Morales looked at the heat sheet before Monday’s regular-season finale at home against Providence, he saw a different lineup for the 400-yard freestyle relay.

All four swimmers were seniors, including Clemente-Morales. It was a fitting way to end the meet and a fitting way to end the regular season.

Jordan Hartman was leadoff, Clemente-Morales swam the second leg, Sam Montgomery took the third spot, and Nick Hester, one of the team’s divers, got out of his comfort zone and served as anchor. They teamed up for the win, and that gave the Owls a 139-6 victory to finish with an 8-6 record.
