Extension Service offers food handling course

Purdue Extension Service of Jackson County will offer the ServSafe Food Handlers Certification Class and Exam on Jan. 9.

ServSafe is a nationally recognized program developed by the food service industry dedicated to helping restaurateurs prevent foodborne illness.

The one-day class is scheduled in the conference room of the Purdue Extension Office in the basement of the Jackson County Courthouse, 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.
