The Jackson County Soil and Water Conservation District annual Soils Judging Contest was conducted
Sept. 18 at the farm of Brian and Susan Hessong.
Brownstown Central High School FFA Chapter won the contest with team members Levi Bays, Conner Tape and Kayla Holle, according to a news release from Terry Ault with the Jackson County Soil & Water Conservation District.
A team from Trinity Lutheran High School comprised of Jared Stuckwisch, Clayton Pottschmidt, Jackson Cain and Mitchell Flinn finished second and Seymour High School FFA team of Levi Pfaffenberger, Evan Barnett, Bridget Crane and Chase Howard, placed third.
