Southern Indiana Center for the Arts October gallery exhibit will feature quilts, hooked rugs by Lois Griffith and wooden bowls and vessels by William Griffith.
A meet-the-artist reception will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Lois D. Griffith, a retired dental hygienist, began quilting in 1980 and rug hooking in 1991. She was one of the founding mothers of the Columbus Star Quilt Guild. She has taught at many quilt guilds and quilt shops around the country and hosts a rug hooking group in her home each month.
