The first major building project at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in five years will begin sometime in early May.
That project, which will see the replacement of restrooms near the main entrance, has an estimated price tag of $60,000 to $100,000.
Fair board vice president John Schafstall said the goal is to have the project completed by mid-July. The fair is set for July 20 to 26.
