Final term starts for library board member



A Seymour man recently started his fourth and final term as a member of the Jackson County Public Library Board of Trustees.

Bob Mahan took his oath of office when trustees met Feb. 18 at the Seymour Library. He was reappointed by the Seymour Community Schools Board of Trustees through December 2017. He is a retired superintendent of Seymour schools.

President Sally Crouch made the following committee appointments for 2014:

Budget: chairman, Dan Thomas; members, Josh Bartley and  Mahan.
