LANESVILLE — The two better teams of the 10U Babe Ruth state softball tourney were the last two standing, and either team could win on any given night.
That was the case on Wednesday as Floyds Knobs played the final 1.2 innings against Seymour in the championship game.
After rain halted play on Sunday, Floyds Knobs held a 6-3 lead. When play resumed on Wednesday, Seymour was only able to muster one more run and lost 6-4 to take the runner-up trophy.
