Winning ugly never looked so beautiful.
For 55 minutes Sunday, Andrew Luck looked every bit a rookie. Floundering, pressing, overwhelmed — you name it, Luck and the Colts looked outmatched against a veteran Detroit defense that was fighting for its playoff life.
Numbers don’t lie, and these were especially bad. A Curtis Painter-esque quarterback rating of 11.3 — yikes! — was driven south by three interceptions.
