Free physicals offered next month at Brownstown


From 8 a.m. to noon May 31 at Brownstown Central Middle School, athletes of Brownstown Central Community Schools, Lutheran Central School and Medora Community Schools in Grades 5 through 12 can get a free physical.

Athletes are encouraged to have a parent or guardian present. IHSAA physical forms can be found at the elementary, middle and high schools' main offices.

Athletes should bring their form, with parent portion completed and signed, to their physical, which will be provided by Schneck Medical Center personnel. Athletes also should wear shorts and a T-shirt.

Arrival times for physicals are as follows:

8 to 9 a.m.: Baseball, softball, golf and tennis (Brownstown, LC)

9 to 10 a.m.: Football and volleyball (Brownstown, LC)

10 to 11 a.m.: Cross-country, cheerleading and track and field (Brownstown, LC)

11 a.m. to noon: Basketball (Brownstown, LC) and all Medora sports

Parents with two or more children participating in different sports may come together. Athletes participating in more than one sport may participate with their sport of choice.
