Friends, family plan benefit for woman after brain injury



A benefit to raise funds to help a Jackson County woman who has survived two traumatic brain injuries in her life is set for Saturday at a Hayden church.

Lynde Doup experienced a horse riding accident when she was only 17 years old.

Riding on a trail in the southern part of Hayden, Doup lost her footing, fell, and the horse flipped on top of her, Doup’s sister Lyda Ritz said.
