History of the Kentucky Derby is the focus of the Jackson County Community Theatre’s second History Lecture Series. The presentation will be given by Kentucky Derby Museum outreach coordinator Heather Hill, a Seymour native.
The program on Feb. 7 will be appropriate for both adults and kids, so families are encouraged to attend, organizers said. The program will start at 7 p.m. and last about an hour. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
The event is free of charge, but donations will be taken for the theater. The theater is at 121 W. Walnut St. in Brownstown. For information, visit the group’s website at jcct.org.
