Gamma Phi chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa conducted its monthly meeting Nov. 6 at the Community Foundation Building in Seymour.

Guest speaker Laura Stahl from Mental Health of Jackson County talked about the services the organization provides to the community. She also thanked members for bringing many items for the annual “Christmas Gift Lift” benefiting Mental Health of Jackson County.

The social committee of LaWanda Tidd, Julie Putman and Glenda Proffer provided snacks.

President Katherine Stahl called the business meeting to order, and reports were given by the officers and committee leaders.

Spring Project chairwoman Mindy Roeder announced plans are already under way for the annual Twice is Nice children’s consignment sale.

Chapter members celebrating November birthdays include Deb Bedwell, Chris O’Brien and Glenda Proffer.

The December meeting and Christmas party will be at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the home of Julie Lemming.

Members are asked to bring items for the Christmas auction that will be put on by the chapter’s Ways and Means Committee.
