Garden Club hears about snow

The All Thumbs Garden Club met at the Community Foundation of Jackson County for the February meeting.

Before the meeting and program, Peg Ackerman, Nancy Bishop and Jane Lucas served drinks, poppy seed muffins, decorated brownies and fruit. On the tables were Valentine cards and tasty Valentine candies.

The program was given by Jill Vance, naturalist at Lake Monroe, and the theme was “Let It Snow.” In 1954,  scientists began exploring the snow crystals.
