Garden club talks planting locations

All Thumbs Garden Club met April 10 at the Easter-decorated home of Donna Moore.

Nancy Fleming and Jeanne Morris were hostesses and served drinks, coffee cake, muffins, fruit and Easter cookies to members as they arrived.

The group shared a program about the various flowers and the location of the plantings by Vicki King and Lisa Burns. It was reported that the poplar flower color of the year is purple and pink, and King and Burns said it is fun to mix vegetables with flowers for a different look in your garden.
